Biomass is a renewable energy source from animal and plant waste. The sources of energy from biomass are very diverse: trees and herbaceous plants, cereals and stubble of cereals, aquatic and marine plants, manure and waste water, landfills, etc. A specialist of the future will need to determine the sources of cheap replenishment of biomass, improve the efficiency of the energy obtained from them, adapt the available technologies and equipment to local conditions.
