Atlas of new professions studied energy industry of Kazakhstan at all stages: from energy generation, distribution, use and management. To create an atlas of new professions in the energy industry was conducted: 6 in-depth interviews, questionnaires on forecasts of the future of the industry with 136 industry experts, as well as 56 experts participated in foresight sessions. Following the results 32 new trades have been developed, 5 transforming and 10 disappearing trades are defined.

1. ALTERNATIVE ENERGY

Alternative energy. In Kazakhstan, the sun and wind already generate about 2.5% of electric energy. In the next 10 years it will increase to 10%. In Kazakhstan will develop a group of profession associated with the design, manufacture of components for renewable energy, as well as their construction, maintenance and management. In the coming years, Kazakhstan will need more and more specialists in this field.

2. BIOENERGY OF ECO-SETTLEMENTS

The development of bioenergy in villages is a promising area of energy development in Kazakhstan.
