Recuperation engineer
Profession will appear after 2025
Trends
Human activity leads to the production of a sufficiently large amount of heat. The human body generates heat all the time, industrial equipment also produces a lot of heat that is not currently used. However, it can be used to heat residential buildings, industrial buildings and agricultural facilities. Recuperation technologies are already being used to design houses in the West, called energy passive. In the face of rising energy prices, recuperation will hold promise for industrial and civil consumers.
The novelty of the profession: solving new problems: conserving and using the available energy in a beneficial way.
Key competencies:
- Object audit: identification of sources of available energy (human body heat, solar heat, heat from operating equipment, etc.), its assessment (volume and period of availability)
- Development of energy supply projects for the facility: the amount of covered demand, the period of energy use (morning, evening, summer, production cycle, etc.) Selection of equipment for energy recovery
