University of International Business (Kazakh Khalygaralyk Business University, English University of International Business, UIB) is a specialized humanitarian and economic university in Alma-Ata, which trains specialists in the field of management and marketing, finance and accounting, economics and international relations, ecology and tourism, state and municipal administration, information systems, social work, sociology, psychology and journalism. UIB is one of the first business universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, created in 1992 as the Republican School of Business, in 2001 it was transformed into the University of International Business. UIB is a unified school of continuing business education that includes bachelor's, master's, doctoral (PhD), MBA and DBA programs.
