The Shymkent Oil Refinery celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2015. The plant celebrated its jubilee with a full-scale modernization of production facilities, as a result of which the depth of oil refining will increase up to 80%. It is planned to increase the volume of oil refining at the refinery to 6 million tons of oil per year, the volume of gasoline production will increase 3 times, and all gasoline will meet the environmental quality standards of Euro-4 and Euro-5. Shymkent Oil Refinery is the only oil refinery located in the south of Kazakhstan, in the most populous part of the republic. Taking into account the favorable geographical location and high technical capabilities, the enterprise has all the prerequisites for the supply of high quality products, both to the domestic and foreign markets.
