PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources JSC
JSC "PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources" ("PKKR") is an oil production company registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan and developing oil fields and exploration blocks in the South Turgai basin: Kumkol (southeastern part), South Kumkol, East Kumkol, North Nuraly, Aryskum, Kyzylkiya, North-West Kyzylkiya, Maibulak, South-West Karabulak. In order to develop the fields and related infrastructure of PKKR, a number of large projects were implemented, including the construction of collector systems for gathering well production, infield highways, systems for pumping water into the reservoir to maintain reservoir pressure, oil storage tanks, gas turbine units to provide their own needs for electricity, as well as drilling and construction of wells. In 2007 PKKR built a 10-inch Kyzylkiya - Aryskum gas pipeline, introduced an oil gathering system at the Aryskum and Kyzylkiya fields, modified the reservoir pressure maintenance system at the Kumkol field, and expanded the shift camp at the Aryskum field with an additional 200 jobs.
