Tengizchevroil LLP
Tengizchevroil was formed on April 6, 1993 on the basis of an agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Chevron. The Tengiz field was discovered in 1979 and is one of the giant oil fields in the world. The Tengiz field is the deepest super-giant oil field in the world, the upper reservoir of which lies at a depth of about 4,000 meters. The Tengiz reservoir is 19 kilometers long and 21 kilometers wide, and the height of the oil reservoir is 1.6 kilometers.
