The SemAZ Limited Liability Partnership was formed and passed the initial state registration on February 23, 2006. The enterprise is a car assembly plant located in East Kazakhstan, the city of Semey. The initiator of the creation of the plant was a group of businessmen headed by the famous Kazakh sportsman, legend of Soviet and Kazakh sports Daulet Turlykhanov. The goal of the SemAZ LLP enterprise is to create an automotive industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which allows the production of competitive cars and meets the needs of the population of Kazakhstan and part of neighboring countries.
