The main activity of Karaganda Regional Electric Company LLP is the transmission and distribution of electrical energy. KREK LLP provides power supply to individuals and legal entities of the Karaganda region. The total service area of ​​electric networks is 98.347 thousand km2. The length of overhead power lines is more than 6600 km. In KREK LLP, the territorial management scheme is mainly applied, in which electrical installations of all voltages located on the territory of administrative districts are assigned to the corresponding power grid areas.
