The Education Center was opened in 1995 as the first education consulting center in Kazakhstan, where anyone can get professional advice on education abroad, focusing on scholarship opportunities for Kazakhstani citizens. In addition, from 1995 to 2012, the Center administered about 20 large scholarship programs for education and advanced training abroad (USA, UK, France, Germany) for Kazakhstanis.

 

Since 2004, the mission of the Educational Center «Bilim — Central Asia» (hereinafter Bilim Center) is to promote and support reforms that contribute to the integration of Central Asia into the international educational space. The Bilim Center’s strategy includes attracting our graduates — graduates of Western programs, international experts in various fields of social sciences and humanities — in the implementation of projects in the field of education.

We have extensive experience in conducting educational projects for vocational guidance (in cooperation with Chevron), inclusive education (with the support of the Open Society Institute — London), tolerant attitude towards PLHIV and others.Currently, the Bilim Center administers scholarship programs for Master’s, Doctorate and advanced training abroad for the Central Asian region (Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan).
